A new chapter for Government House

Michels Warren extends its warmest congratulations to Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC as she concludes her tenure as Governor of South Australia. 

It has been a privilege to work with Her Excellency and her hardworking team at Government House over the past five years, helping to breathe new life into the creative identity of Government House.

One of the highlights of this partnership was the opportunity to lead the design and development of a new brand identity for Government House, including a personalised brand mark for Her Excellency. 

The project required a delicate balance between the heritage and significance of Government House and the contemporary professionalism brought to the role by Her Excellency. Weaving the two personalities together, our comprehensive rebranding project brought to life a fresh identity across a new logo suite, website, social media channels and stationery. 

Our Senior Designer Jo Koehler has worked closely with Government House since 2018 and was honoured to attend the Governor’s official farewell on Tuesday 29 September.

We will miss Her Excellency and wish her and Mr Bunten the best of luck in the future with their new ventures. 

We look forward to continuing to work with the team at Government House and welcoming the incoming Governor, Grant Stevens, when he commences in the role in December.
