Adelaide High School

Adelaide High School has been educating young people in South Australia for more than a century. The first free public high school in the Australian Commonwealth, the school today caters to 1900 students from Years 7-12.

We were challenged to modernise the Adelaide High School brand while acknowledging the school’s 100-year plus history and the ideas and opinions of its staff and students. Our design team refined the existing Adelaide High School crest, creating a bold new identity that enables the school to stand out in the education market. Working with a predominantly black and white palette, we introduced supporting colours across the school’s specialised programs, influenced by the heritage-listed architecture that gives the school its recognisable public face.
