Lesley Johns is a journalist and communications/media and public relations specialist with experience spanning 30 years. She has worked across a wide range of sectors including media, government, indigenous, mining, healthcare, not for profit and corporate. She delivers strategic communications outcomes for a wide range of local and global brands.

Lesley maintains a strong network of contacts across all media and government sectors and has a sound understanding of social media and new emerging technologies. For much of her career she worked in the mainstream newsrooms of metropolitan Adelaide. She has worked for 7, 9 and 10 networks, the ABC, Radio Adelaide and News Ltd.

She is a member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia, Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance, Media Awards Advisory Panel, an inaugural member of WimSA (Women in Media, South Australia). Lesley has lectured in the University of South Australia’s School of Journalism and is a current member of the SA Media Awards Advisory Panel (the body which judges media awards in South Australia).
